Public Notice: 2024 Solid Waste Training and Webinar Series

The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Solid Waste Permitting and Corrective Action Program will be hosting an in-person and virtual webinar review of the new Transfer Station Operation and Management Exam this week on November 7th from 10:00am to 11:30am MST. The in-person training will be held at the DEQ Casper Office, and a link will be provided for registered online participants.

Date:         November 7, 2024      Location: Casper DEQ Office             Time: 10am-11:30am MST

We are excited to announce that the City of Casper will be joining us for this webinar to discuss their transfer station. This webinar will also feature a review of the applicable rules for compliant operation and management of transfer stations. Attendees will have the option of registering for the Department’s Transfer Station Operation and Management Exam at the end of the webinar.

This session is FREE and open to solid waste professionals, consultants, and the public. Registration is required to attend and is currently open. To register visit the DEQ website at *[link removed]* [ [link removed] ] and click on Training. Registration will close at November 6 at 4:00pm MST.

We are also asking for your help to identify topics for the 2025 FREE Training Series.  If you have a specific topic you would like to learn more about or would be interested in hosting a training session, please complete an interest form at *[link removed]* [ [link removed] ] and click on Training.
