No matter the job -- women deserve equal pay for equal work. So while we root for them to win the World Cup, we're also cheering on the USWNT off the pitch in their fight to #CloseTheGap and receive the pay that is rightfully theirs.

Show your support for the United States Women's National Team both on and off the field. Share this post now to support their fight for equal pay.

John,

We've been hooked to our screens, watching the United States Women's National Team dominate the FIFA Women's World Cup this year. With six victories under their belt, we can't wait to see if this will be the year they take home the cup (again).

Other than patriotism, there is another reason why we are so invested in our champions. Right now, the players are involved in a battle with the United States Soccer Federation demanding equal pay for their work on the field.

The USWNT players make significantly less than their male counterparts -- even though they've won more titles for their country. This is just good, old-fashioned sexism. And the USWNT is proving that it doesn't matter the job: women deserve equal pay for equal work.

Suzan DelBene is committed to closing the gender pay gap in our country once and for all. If you're with Suzan and the USWNT, show your support by sharing this post right now.
