Yesterday, October 30, was the final day for General Election early voting at Village Hall.
Early voting will continue at the Kendall County election office through November 4. For more information, visit the Kendall County Clerk's election website or call 630-553-4105. New location for the County office: 502 S. Main St in Yorkville.
A special Committee of the Whole budget workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on November 2.
The public is always invited to attend Village Board meetings in person at Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill. Meetings are also livestreamed with video available online afterward.
This Thanksgiving season, join your Village leaders for a special Village Board on Your Block on November 6, from 5-7 p.m. at Hunt Club Elementary.
Drop by to share your thoughts, ask questions, or simply meet your Village President and Trustees. Plus, we’ll be collecting donations for the Kendall County Community Food Pantry—your contributions will make a difference for local families in need.

The Village’s free Fall Cleanup Collection is the week of November 11. Use this opportunity to set out additional household waste, bulk items like couches and dressers, and yard waste on your regularly scheduled garbage day. Stickers are not necessary, but yard waste must be placed in Kraft bags.

Daylight Savings Time ends and clocks fall back an hour on November 2. Remember to turn your clocks back one hour to local standard time before bed tonight.
This is a great opportunity to check the batteries on smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as make sure that any fire extinguishers are in working order.
