Team, I’d like to share a message (below) from Angus King, with whom I have the honor of serving in the United States Senate.

Angus is a critical partner of mine in the U.S. Senate, and we can’t afford to lose his thoughtful approach to policy making. He’s running for reelection in Maine, and I’d like to ask you to support his campaign by splitting a contribution between our campaigns.

There’s just too much on the line — from reproductive rights to access to the ballot box — to risk losing Angus and letting Republicans take back the Senate majority. Please chip in today if you can.

– Sen. Blumenthal

Team: As of today, there are only 5 days until Election Day. And as you might know, I am up for reelection. With time running out and the future of our democracy on the line I could really use your support.

Can you donate any amount right now to be split between my campaign and my friend Sen. Blumenthal so that we can keep delivering for the American people?

Here in the Senate, there are often long days and late nights. It’s not always glamorous, but I wouldn’t change it for the world – it’s the job you hired me to do. From helping address the cost of living to speaking on the Senate floor in defense of women’s rights, this work is incredibly rewarding.

I can’t wait to keep fighting for you and your communities in the Senate if you give me the opportunity. But friend, I need your support – large or small, it doesn’t matter – if I’m going to win my re-election campaign in November. Can you make a donation large or small to be split between myself and Sen. Blumenthal right now? With the clock ticking, I promise every single dollar counts.

Politics are more divisive than ever. Partisan bickering and extremism have become the new normal. But I truly think that we Americans agree on far more than we disagree on, and we should find common-sense solutions that work for everyone.

Every day I go to work in the Senate, I aim to rise above that partisanship to fight for the solutions that benefit all Americans. Are you with me?

—Angus
