It’s like we’ve been saying the whole time. Nick LaLota isn’t running to represent New York’s First District. He’s never voted here - not once. He’s not even running for New York. He’s running to be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies. Those are his constituents. And if we let him back into office, that’s who will benefit the most.
But hey, we’re already up a vote. There are two candidates running in this race. One can vote for themselves, and the other can’t. So if you’re keeping track, that’s one vote for rebuilding the middle of our politics and rebuilding the middle class, for women’s rights, and for common sense - and zero votes for No Show Nick and his failed, far-right policies.
But John’s gonna need a lot more than his own vote to win this election. It’s going to take every last one of us. That’s why we’re trying to motivate every single voter in Suffolk County to get out and vote for the candidate who can actually vote for himself. When John takes office, he’ll make sure families all across the district have a real warrior in Washington that they can count on.
