John,
Political rhetoric has gone from scary to dangerous. The General Assembly has yet to pass a budget for this fiscal year and the 118th Congress is arguably the least productive in modern history. There is a saying that voters will get the leaders they deserve. Due to gerrymandering, voter suppression tactics, fearmongering, misinformation, and the incredulous cost of campaigns - I disagree with this concept.
That said, statewide elections can’t be gerrymandered! Early voting runs through Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. and Election Day is on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024. It’s hard to believe we are less than 5 days away from Election Day.
It’s been a rollercoaster ride of a year and the polling and early voting numbers indicate we can win this race, but our lead is within the margin of error.
At this point, the outcome of the general election will depend on turnout. The call to action today is to make a plan to vote if you haven’t already and to encourage your friends and neighbors to let their voices be heard at the ballot box. Help our seniors get to the polls and spread the word about curb-side voting, and that some counties have wait time trackers.
Your energy and enthusiasm has fueled our campaign from the start. Now, let’s turn out the vote - the alternative is scary.
