Hello,

Emergencies are never planned — but when traumatic incidents like car accidents, heart failure or respiratory distresses happen, hospitals are ready. Each day, Americans are admitted into the intensive care unit or ICU and receive life-saving care. Without access to a variety of 24/7 care services all under one roof, patient lives would be at risk. Healthcare professionals in the ICU understand: In traumatic cases, every second counts.

To show members of Congress considering cuts to care that hospitals are #hereforeverything, the Coalition is collecting stories about ICU experiences from advocates like you. Hearing stories from advocates helps our advocacy efforts in Congress, and pushes back against corporate insurers and other special interest groups.
