Our team here at Future Coalition is proud to work with organizations that work before, during, and after Election Day. For more information on Future Coalition and a few of the organizations we work with, here’s what you need to know:

 

The Take It Back Network Grant is awarded to… “Freedom Is At Stake” GOTV Bus Tour

  • The “Freedom Is At Stake” GOTV Bus Tour’s goal is to mobilize voters across critical Midwestern and Southern battleground states. Through this tour, they’re engaging young people, Black voters, and other communities that previously faced systemic hurdles to voting by encouraging early voting, providing transportation to polling locations, and creating a sense of unity in civic action. Participation from these voters can help determine the progressive future we have worked so hard for!

 

The OutVote Fellowship Program

 

  • OutVote is a project of our Future Incubator program, and is working to grow an engaged community of LGBTQIA+ voters, who are fighting for a government that looks like, embodies, and fights for them. Their fellowship allows folks to mobilize LGBTQIA+ young people in key states like Arizona and Pennsylvania.  The fellowship is an 8-week training program about relational organizing, voter registration, advocacy, and approaching this work through an equity lens.  

Finally, Future Coalition launched our Creator Network Program, a digital engagement program that harnesses the energy surrounding politics and presents young people with an opportunity to use their social platforms to inform friends, family, and peers about policy and campaign updates. Recently Claudia Conway appeared on our podcast to talk about this program and her work in digital activism.  

 

Her work was recently featured in a New York Times article, where her work with Future Coalition was mentioned! Our Executive Director, Corryn Freeman said of Claudia:

“She had every opportunity to potentially become political royalty in the Republican Party… Faced with privilege and an easy path forward, she chose her heart.”
