And voters agreed. Earlier this year - hard to believe it happened this year! - Pete won the Iowa Caucuses, becoming the first openly LGBTQ candidate to ever win a presidential primary AND the first openly LGBTQ candidate to earn delegates in a Democratic presidential primary. His win forever ended the myth that America isn’t ready for an out president.
