No one should have to choose between paying for life-saving medications and putting food on the table.
Yet, too many hardworking families in the Inland Empire face that difficult decision every day.
That's why I've been working tirelessly to bring down health care and prescription drug costs right here in our community.
Ensuring that families aren’t burdened with skyrocketing costs for essential care is one of my top priorities.

Here are some of the ways I’ve delivered real solutions that our community is benefitting from:
- Lowering Insulin Costs: I helped secure a $35/month insulin cap for seniors and Medicare enrollees, lowering costs for the 77,000 individuals in our region living with diabetes.
- Reducing Prescription Drug Costs: I supported legislation that is projected to help 35,000 Medicare beneficiaries in the Inland Empire save $4.5 million on out-of-pocket costs for their prescriptions this year.
- Expanding Local Affordable Health Care: I secured over $3 million in federal funding for SAC Health System in San Bernardino, expanding access to affordable health care services for families throughout the region.
- Making Health Care More Accessible: I helped pass the American Rescue Plan, the largest investment in affordable health care access in over a decade, making health care more affordable for millions of Americans, including thousands of families in the Inland Empire.
