Hi–
Our movement's been nonstop this month as we sprint towards Election Day.
Read on to find out what we've been up to and how you can get involved:

There are just five days left to cast your vote for Gun Sense Candidates
up and down your ballot.
We're not voting for just one leader—we're voting for our safety, for
our right to live without fear, and for a future free from gun violence.
Make sure you—and your friends and family—are ready to vote. [ [link removed] ]Make

We're pulling out all the stops to get out the vote in these last five
days.
This weekend, we're organizing Weekend of Action events all across the
country to mobilize voters and defeat gun extremism at the polls.

Gun violence is the leading cause of death for children and teens in the
United States, and we can't afford to elect more lawmakers who are
beholden to the gun lobby. We're paying for it with our lives.

Courts & Litigation

Ghost guns are unserialized, untraceable firearms that can be easily put
together in minutes from parts acquired without a background check.
For years, public safety advocates, gun violence survivors, top legal
experts, law enforcement, elected officials, and more fought to confirm
that ghost guns are subject to regulation for what they are: deadly
firearms. But this progress now hangs in the balance of the Supreme
Court.
This month, the Court heard oral arguments in Garland v. VanDerStok, a
case determining whether kits for assembling ghost guns will be
regulated like any other deadly firearms. [ [link removed] ]Learn more about what's at

Gun safety is a winning issue at the ballot box—and we're proving it
seat by seat in communities across the country.
"I get to travel all across this country and meet with our volunteers
and partners and candidates running up and down the ballot, and there
are so many people that are not running away from this issue but running
on it and actually winning," said Angela Ferrell-Zabala, executive
director of Moms Demand Action. "This is a priority for many folks."

Gun stores with lax security are arming criminals. On average, gun
stores report five incidents of theft or loss of firearms each day. And
unlike laws that govern other industries, there are no federal laws
requiring gun stores to undertake any measures to secure their
inventory.
We're demanding gun stores secure their stores and make it harder for
criminals to steal guns.

security are putting our communities at risk.
