Today Abortion Access Front is bringing you THE political event of the season. A debate about access to reproductive care between ACTUAL living Minnesota Senator Tina Smith and the reanimated zombie of Anthony Comstock—yes, the 1873 anti-abortion postal prude.
What Do You Mean Senator Smith Is Debating That Cooch-Obsessed Cadaver? Look-Project 2025, the Supreme Court, 145 members of Congress, and many other extremists are pushing to enforcea 151-year-old law called The Comstock Act as an altogether cookie attempt to ban abortionand restrict access to contraception nationwide. Your pals at AAF wanted to do something big and fun to raise the alarm bells, so what did we do? We got some rusty shovels and a reanimation machine on “Buy Nothing”- dug up Comstock then brought him back to life to debate Minnesota Senator Tina Smith, who has authored a bill to STOP the Comstock Act.
Ok, maybe we didn't exactly bring back Comstock with shovels and seances, and maybe it was more like slapping spirit gum and cheap ass mutton chops on the lovely mug of Abortion AF writer Molly Gaebe…I mean, does it reeealllly matter? What matters is that when she transforms into Anthony Comstock, it is alarmingly hilarious.
Call your Senators and demand they vote for Senator Smith’s bill to Stop the Comstock Act!
