John,
With Election Day less than a week away, I want to take a minute to reflect on how we got here and what we’re fighting for.
When I first joined the Glendale City Council, it was dominated by conservative voices. Many thought pushing for progress would be an unwinnable battle. But instead of backing down, we organized and successfully fought for progressive values and banned the Glendale Gun Show from public property.
In the State Assembly, I fought for bold initiatives to tackle climate change, protect reproductive rights, and push for real health care reforms—despite strong opposition from corporate interests and special interest groups.
Throughout my years of public service, I’ve learned that creating lasting, meaningful change is tough. But that doesn't mean we should ever compromise our values or give up on our vision.
We’re here to build a world where our air and water are clean, where our communities are free from the scourge of gun violence, and where reproductive freedom is restored for all. But it will take each and every one of us to make that world a reality.
Tonight is our final end-of-month fundraising deadline of the election, and we have $8,133 left to raise. Will you help close the gap and bring strong progressive values to Congress by chipping in $3 today?
