What scares you the most on Halloween, John?

Ghosts? Vampires? Rowdy teens who could TP your house? For me, it's far-right control of Iowa's government.

In just the last two years, Kim Reynolds and her extremist allies in the State Legislature have taken $360 million and handed it over to private schools. But it hasn't stopped there. At every turn, Reynolds has lept at every opportunity to steal abortion rights, invoke book bans, loosen gun regulations, and support whatever far-right cause national Republicans give her.

Iowa is becoming a clear example of what happens when far-right Republicans have unchecked power in a state. So we need to become that check.

Iowans need more Democrats in the state legislature who can Stand Tall for All. With only five days left in this election, can you chip in $11 and help us fight against extremists like Governor Reynolds?

My far-right opponent is an example of what we are up against. He doesn't have a clue what Iowans need and his opinions are hardwired into a far-right echo chamber. Now, imagine dozens of extremists like him running our state government. Scary, right?

We deserve better than a state government that will take away our rights, give public education dollars to private schools, and make it harder for Iowans to take care of their families. That's why I'm running for reelection, to Stand Tall for our rights, schools, and hard-working families. But I can't do it alone.
