As this year's "Festival of Lights" kicks off, the Office of New York City Comptroller Brad Lander is proud to invite you to our 2024 Diwali Celebration on Wednesday, November 13 at Richi Rich Palace in Richmond Hill.

We are excited for you to join us once again as we celebrate the victory of light over darkness with a lamp lighting ceremony, honorees, dance performances, food and more! 

Alongside distinguished speakers and guests, this year we will be honoring:

• Annetta Seecharran, Executive Director, Chhaya CDC
• Padma Linkha Magar, Co-Founder, Saral Nepali Language and Culture Center
• South Queens Women’s March  
• UNITED SIKHS
