 When we started our work to flip Texas blue just two years ago, we knew we had our work cut out for us. Our analysis showed that we needed to turn out ONE MILLION more voters to flip Texas permanently blue. But we also knew that this work is a marathon, not a sprint. It requires building political infrastructure in key communities, establishing relationships with voters, and maintaining a permanent presence in Texas — not just in the final few weeks leading up to an election. So even though this November will be our first big test, we know the work doesn’t end here — no matter the outcome. We need to keep up the effort to defend our progress and build on all that we’ve achieved for future elections too.
