** Register for the Libertarian Scholars Conference 2025 ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------

The Mises Institute will host the Libertarian Scholars Conference on March 20, 2025, at our Auburn campus.

The LSC has been the preeminent interdisciplinary meeting of scholars advancing libertarian thought since the 1970s, when the first LSC was organized by the Center for Libertarian Studies. The inaugural conference featured papers by Murray Rothbard, Leonard Liggio, Ralph Raico, Leland Yeager, and other prominent libertarian scholars.

As the libertarian movement has grown, so has the need for continued scholarly work. Insights from the social sciences and humanities are crucial to understand the nature and implications of liberty and what it takes for human civilization to flourish.

The newly relaunched Libertarian Scholars Conference invites new generations of thinkers to contribute to libertarian scholarship. Join us in shaping the future of radical Austro-libertarian research!

** Schedule and Fees
------------------------------------------------------------
LSC 2025 is a one-day conference and begins on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Mises Institute at 1:00 p.m. central time. Registration is $99 per person and includes refreshments, a keynote lecture, access to all sessions, and admission to the closing reception at the Auburn University Hotel.
Please note: Attendees have the option to register for the Austrian Economic Research Conference 2025, which will be held March 20–22, 2025, at the Institute, when they buy their LSC registration. Those who register for both events will enjoy discounted rates. View our event page ([link removed]) or email Felicia Jones (mailto:[email protected]?subject=LSC%202025) for more information.

** Call for Papers
------------------------------------------------------------
We are now accepting submissions for the conference.

Proposals for individual papers, complete paper sessions, and symposia are encouraged. Papers on all topics related to libertarian themes in the social sciences and humanities are welcome. Abstracts should be limited to 250 words. Papers should be well developed but at a stage where they can still benefit from the group’s discussion. Preference will be given to recent papers that have not been given at major conferences and that are intended for academic audiences.
All proposals will be peer reviewed by the Libertarian Scholars Conference Program Committee.

Submit your proposal using this form by January 24, 2025. All acceptances will be communicated by February 7, 2025 ([link removed]) .
