We are demanding climate justice and we want you to join us.

While the world is trying to keep global warming to below 1.5°C, the super-rich are dining out on the planet and emitting more carbon in less than two hours than an average person does in a lifetime. This is the stark reality of how the super-rich are throwing our planet into crisis. We need to see Rich Polluters Pay.

We need to see the biggest polluters who continue to become wealthier, held to account for the damage they are causing. We need to support the communities who are most impacted by the climate crisis, to cover the costs of building a fairer future.

A new Oxfam report, ‘Carbon Inequality Kills’, shows just how much the lavish lifestyles and investments of 50 of the world’s richest billionaires are turbo-charging the climate crisis.

This report comes ahead of COP 29, the UN Climate Change conference which will take place this year from 11 – 24 November, in Baku, Azerbaijan. Climate breakdown is accelerating and if the world continues its current emissions, the carbon budget (the amount of CO2 that can still be added to the atmosphere without causing global temperatures to rise above 1.5°C) will be depleted in about four years.
