Protecting Montanans' 2nd Amendment Rights During the Coronaviurs Pandemic

What's New:

Last week, I sent a letter encouraging the leaders at the FBI and the ATF to prioritize public safety while also respecting Second Amendment rights, by asking them to provide information on how the federal firearms background check system has responded during the coronavirus pandemic.

To read the full letter, click HERE.

Why It Matters:

It is important Congress has information on the impact the coronavirus has had on the firearm transfer process so that we have a clear picture on where things stand and if legislation is needed to ensure that our Second Amendment rights are not infringed upon.

What's Next:

I will continue fighting to ensure that law-abiding Montanans are not deprived of their constitutional right to keep and bear arms, especially during these uncertain times.
