Friend --
It's Giving Tuesday again, and I want to share another incredible community organization that is working to ease the burdens of our district's families who are struggling during this pandemic.
Community Action of Greene County launched its COVID-19 relief fund not long ago, and they're already making a difference for our neighbors -- primarily through their food pantry.
Community Action of Greene County has a long history of assisting our families (over 50 years of service) through national challenges, and we're beyond confident in their ability to help again.
Right now, Community Action needs our help to fuel their relief efforts. Can you please chip in $5 or more to help?
Here's how your contribution to Community Action will help our neighbors:
- Provide funding to keep their food pantry stocked;
- Establish additional access for clothing and household items;
- Assist individuals and families with housing and shelter; and
- Provide aid to domestic violence survivors in the form of shelter, legal, and social services, as well as counseling.
Their work fills gaps in our government's social safety net and provides families in need with vital resources. We can help them continue their work by providing them with additional funding right now.
Can you help? Any donation you make will help our communities weather this storm when they need us the most. Please chip in $5 or whatever you can afford now.
Thank you,
Antonio
