Hello folks,

When we launched this re-election campaign, no one could have predicted that a global pandemic would upend our daily lives as we know it.

First, I hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. Just as the coronavirus has affected you, it has also affected our campaign. We’ve moved all campaign events online, shifted entirely to digital fundraising, and my entire team is working from home indefinitely.

I completely understand why our numbers have taken a dip in recent weeks, but we’re trailing behind our critical mid-month fundraising goal which has me a little worried.

I know how strong this grassroots team is and your small-dollar donations help fuel this campaign. After all, I wouldn’t be in this fight if it wasn’t for folks like you stepping up in moments like these. So, that’s why I have to ask:

If you can afford to, and I mean that — only if you can afford to — will you donate $10 before our campaign’s mid-month fundraising goal on Friday?

Although I miss campaigning in person and seeing all of you out on the trail, we’re committed to meeting people where they are and staying connected with as many folks as we can.

Thank you for your support and for staying with me throughout the campaign. I will never stop fighting for a progressive agenda that lifts all of us up, especially during difficult times like these.
