Together, we are making a difference. Here are just two examples of how:

• Immediately following the tragic Tree of Life synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, investigators at ADL’s Center on Extremism tracked down and identified an individual glorifying the violence online. He made terrifying threats of mass killings of Jews and other minorities, promising death and destruction. The Center leaped into action, rushing a notice to the FBI. Soon after, Dakota Reed was arrested with 12 firearms, endless rounds of ammo and piles of white supremacist materials before he was able to hurt anyone.

• Investigators from the Center also tracked disturbing online posts and images that they eventually traced to Corbin Kauffman, an internet user who made 600+ violent threats toward the Jewish community, African Americans, and others. We were able to rush the information to the police, who made an arrest before Kauffman could act on any of his violent posts.
