Given the stress and uncertainty families are facing right now, it’s no surprise that some kids are having a hard time coping. If you’re seeing signs of things like anxiety, behavior problems or depression, you might be wondering if your child needs help. But with in-person mental health treatment not available, where do you turn?

This week on childmind.org ([link removed]) we discuss telehealth treatment for kids ([link removed]). Whether you’re looking for a new provider ([link removed]) or transitioning to remote sessions with your child’s current therapist, you’ll learn what to expect and how to get the most out of telehealth.

And as this crisis continues to be tough on our kids, it’s important to be alert to signs of depression, which can be triggered by the kinds of upsetting changes we’re experiencing. So we also offer guidance this week on how to recognize signs of depression ([link removed]) and what to do if you think your child is showing them.
