Jack, this summer has been marked by extreme weather -- wildfires in the West, extreme heat across the country, and flooding and hurricanes in the South. That doesn’t matter to climate deniers. In Project 2025, MAGA extremists have outlined their plans to gut the National Weather Service, decimate the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and end free weather reports -- leaving all of us threatened by extreme weather events with no warning. The National Weather Service provides critical weather forecasts and critical early warnings for deadly heat waves and destructive hurricanes. Imagine having to pay to receive life-saving alerts and evacuation warnings.
