John – If we could give Mike Garcia a report card, we’d give him an F grade:
- Garcia’s record on reproductive freedom is downright appalling. Despite trying to appeal to undecided voters as a “moderate”, he’s twice cosponsored national abortion legislation with zero exceptions for rape or incest.
- Garcia is clearly only in Congress to benefit himself. He’s voted to give himself a $8,000 pay raise, but voted against pay raises for firefighters.
- Garcia is embroiled in scandal. He sold tens of thousands in Boeing stock weeks before his congressional committee released a scathing report about their role in deadly crashes – that looks a lot like insider trading.
- Garcia voted to overturn the 2020 election results, and is now refusing to commit to certify the 2024 election results. This is an attack on our democracy and betrayal of the will of the people.
- Garcia consistently votes against our community’s best interests, and would rather cower to Trump and the far-right than do right by CA-27.
This is a toss-up race, and while we’re polling 2-points ahead, we need to pull away from Garcia in these final six days. The GOP is spending nearly $16 million to stop us.
The good news is that Garcia is vulnerable, and polling shows that when undecided voters learn about George, they support us over Garcia.
We need to build upon our momentum in these final six days and reach the voters we need to win. Will you chip in $3 to oust Garcia and elect George?
