With just days left until Election Day and hours left until our October deadline, I want to set the record straight on what’s at stake and what we’re fighting for in this race.

Our campaign is about making real, measurable changes in Harris County’s criminal justice system to serve our community with fairness, integrity, and safety. Here’s how we’ll get it done:

▶️ Reducing the Case Backlog: Justice delayed is justice denied. My goal is to address the backlog that’s keeping cases from moving forward, ensuring justice isn’t stalled for months, even years.

▶️ Ending Cash Bail: Cash bail should not be a barrier to justice. As DA, I’ll work to eliminate cash bail for nonviolent offenders, ensuring that people aren’t penalized just because they can’t pay.

▶️ Restoring Integrity to the DA’s office: Trust in the DA’s office is essential, and I’m committed to restoring that trust through transparency, accountability, and a focus on justice–not politics.

These are only a few of the core issues driving our campaign. But my opponent, backed by Republican mega-donors, is fighting to pull our justice system back to the past.
