It is natural to feel concerned about the election's implications on our lives and communities, especially for all of us who are directly affected by immigration policies. We want you to know that you are not alone in these feelings. Our team stands in solidarity with you and recognizes the challenges that lie ahead. We are committed to advocating for the rights and dignity of the undocumented immigrant population in New Mexico, regardless of the political landscape. Your voices and experiences are at the heart of our mission, and we remain steadfast in our efforts to support you. In this time of uncertainty, we encourage you to reach out for support, whether it’s through our services, community events, or simply connecting with one another. Together, we can find strength in our community, and we will continue to stand up for justice, equity, and the well-being of all individuals in our state. If you are a current client or pursuing legal services: Know that nothing can change before the new administration takes office, and we don’t anticipate major policy changes happening before then. For those who can vote, we encourage you to do so. We believe in the power of every vote to impact our communities and ensure that our voices are heard. In New Mexico, voters can check their registration, find polling locations, and stay updated on important election deadlines through the New Mexico Secretary of State's website at www.nmvote.org. We encourage those outside New Mexico to visit their Secretary of State website for accurate and specific voting information.
