John,

Right now, over 1.3 million New Yorkers are being left behind by the federal government because of their immigration status. Across the state, immigrants are at the forefront of Coronavirus response efforts—caring for the sick, delivering food, sanitizing warehouses—and time and again, they’ve been cruelly excluded from federal relief.

Urge Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who has been critical to the passage of all relief packages, and our elected officials to wield their power to guarantee that immigrants get the relief they need in the next COVID-19 package.

TAKE ACTION

Trump’s xenophobic agenda has put millions of our loved ones at risk. New Yorkers need Senator Schumer and our elected leaders to stand with our immigrant communities and guarantee that we’re included in the next COVID-19 relief package—and ALL relief efforts moving forward because that’s the best way to protect all of us. We’re calling for:

  • Cash assistance for all people who contribute to the economy and pay taxes, regardless of immigration status.

  • Expand Medicaid coverage for COVID19 treatment to all, regardless of status.

  • Extending expiring legal protections for immigrants to ensure our essential workers can continue to protect all of us.

Send your message now to demand a COVID response that includes everyone regardless of immigration status to protect ALL our futures.

Thanks for fighting with us.
