[1]NNU - Medicare for All!



We just wrapped up our last Patients Over Profits Action Call of the year
last night and wanted to report back on the progress we’ve made in 2024,
plus some ways you can help us in our final push to 300 pledge signers
before Election Day!

This year, our Patients Over Profits campaign:

* Grew the pledge from 151 to 281 signers ([ [link removed] ]see the list here!);
* Hosted 8 monthly Action Calls;
* Found 227 events around the country with politicians in attendance,
thanks to our Research Team!

Events Team volunteers attended dozens of events across the country and
got lots of new signers, sometimes 4 or 5 at a time! Not only that, but
more and more politicians started finding out about the pledge organically
through word of mouth, proving our hard work is making a difference.

We also had some amazing help from partner organizations that adopted this
campaign as part of their work and got dozens of signers, including
Medicare for All Florida, the Arizona Medicare for All Coalition, Whole
Washington, NW Indiana Medicare for All Coalition, and People’s Action. A
big thank you to our valuable partner organizations!

Now, we’re just 19 signers away from reaching our goal of 300 candidates
or elected officials committed to rejecting contributions of $200 or more
from the for-profit health care industry.

With less than one week to the critical general election, will you help us
