John, I have some bad news:
Right now, we’re behind pace on our $20,000 end-of-month fundraising goal. That’s important (and concerning) for a few reasons.
Election Day is just six days away, and we need strong fundraising so that I can campaign in full force in swing states across the country. I’ve been speaking with voters and leading door-knocking teams, and my campaign has made more than 50,000 calls into battleground states to get out the vote. Our fight to defend democracy, codify abortion rights, raise the minimum wage, nix the filibuster, and expand Medicare is fueled by your support, John.
The good news is that if we can raise $4,000 in the next 24 hours, we’ll be able to get back on track. Can you chip in $3 to help us meet our end-of-month goal and continue doing everything we can to get out the vote?
And I really do rely on your donations, John.
The average online donation to my campaign this month is under $30. The majority of folks donating in response to emails like this one give even less. So, I really do need folks to step up today so we can hit our goal.
The numbers are important. The work of electing Kamala Harris, winning Democratic majorities in Congress, and pushing for progressive change is important. The next 6 days are so important for our country and our democracy — so we need to meet our fundraising goal.
