Health: HHS Language Access Know-Your-Rights Flyers
The Office of Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) created flyers to help people who don’t speak or read English assert their language access rights and get the care they need. Flyers are available in 18 languages, plus English. They don’t seem to be linked on the HHS website yet, so we’ve compiled them for now. Please use and share these flyers and encourage your networks to do the same.

Health: DACA Open Enrollment Resources
Affordable Care Act open enrollment begins on Friday, and for the first time since the ACA’s enactment, people with DACA are eligible. An estimated 100,000 people could get coverage under the new policy, but only if they know about it. We’ve added some social media samples to our partner toolkit, which you can use to help spread the word. And please include the #ProtectFamilies tag where you can, to make it easier for PIF partners to amplify your posts.

Voting: Defend Democracy, With Help
With Election Day coming up fast, we encourage you to take a moment to learn about the Election Protection coalition. The coalition brings more than 300 organizations together to protect the right to vote, including PIF partners like the Southern Poverty Law Center, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, and the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. The coalition administers several hotlines, which partners can use to help families with voting questions or to report voter disinformation or intimidation:

Narrative: MomsRising Research-Tested Immigrant Story
Our partners at MomsRising tested several pro-immigrant messenger and message combinations. The most persuasive was a firsthand account by an OR nurse who immigrated to the US from Sierra Leone. MomsRising asked us to share these resources with you:
