Hi John,

Last week, AFP Wisconsin hosted a powerful panel discussion focused on border
security and humanitarian issues that drew over 110 people, including 80 who
were new to AFP.

Participants weren’t just listening. They were mobilized too! Many took notes
and shared statistics with family and friends on the spot.

One attendee remarked, “We’re better than this. We have to be better than
this,” capturing the event’s spirit. The crowd lingered afterward, eager to
connect with the speakers and ready to get involved.

Some highlights from the evening:

* Retired Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem: Shared about how fentanyl is a
national emergency, and if we don’t address it now, the scale of lives lost to
fentanyl in America underscores a critical need for accountability and action.
* Human trafficking expert Jarrod Sadulski: Described the prevalence of
trafficked children as “right in front of us,” painting a vivid picture of how
human trafficking exists unseen in everyday places.
* Hovde Homes founder Eric Hovde: shared how his team at Hovde Homes is
working tirelessly with vulnerable women and children at the border.
And earlier this month in Ohio, I spoke to approximately 60 people about how
AFP’s vision of a secure border, paired with efficient legal pathways for
permanent and seasonal migration, will curtail much of this human suffering.

What AFP saw in both Wisconsin and Ohio is the same as what we have seen
during our nearly 40 events in states across the nation this year: Americans
are energized to hold Washington accountable for the border crisis.

We want this energy to ignite a movement across America, advocating for secure
borders, the rule of law, and more accessible legal pathways.

I invite you to join us. The first step is to learn more at

SECURE THE BORDER
