Dear friend,
As your member of Congress, it’s a privilege to work on issues that directly impact constituents in the Fifteenth District. From helping secure nearly $20 million in investments for local projects to passing legislation that supports the resources Ohio families rely on every day, we’ve had a productive year so far.

In Congress, we’ve worked hard to bring jobs back home to Ohio. Our region’s economic security depends on companies from the US and abroad choosing to manufacture their products here. Creating a favorable tax landscape for these companies will result in more Made in America stickers on our shelves.

This month, we helped welcome two major investments in the OH-15 economy. Advanced Drainage Systems, a company which specializes in water management and treatment, opened a $65 million facility in Hilliard this month. This new site will create an estimated 200 new jobs in our community.

We were also glad to see Welspun, one of India’s fastest-growing businesses, choose to open their new facility in Grove City. This factory will create dozens of jobs producing pillows sold at stores across the United States.

The message from workers and employers at these new facilities was clear: we need tax certainty to keep jobs stateside.

We’ll continue to use these insights to inform our work in Congress. If you’d like to share an opinion or issue with our office, we’d love to hear from you! Contact us on our website at carey.house.gov.

Sincerely,
