To protect our elections, states need more money.

Tell the Senate to help states protect their elections this year!

“Americans of all stripes across the country are voicing their concerns with voting this year amid a pandemic. And they’re also voicing their support for alternatives like safe in-person voting, absentee voting, and early voting. Implementing these alternatives before November will be a big task for states — one that will be particularly difficult without the support of the federal government. The Senate must step up and provide states with more funding to ensure our elections are safe, secure, and fair this year.”

John,

According to Republican pollsters used by President Trump’s campaign, 76% of voters favor keeping polling locations open as well as giving all voters the option to vote by absentee ballot this November amid coronavirus concerns.

This confirms something we knew: Americans across the political spectrum are concerned about the virus and don’t want to have to choose between their health and their right to vote.

Now, we just need the Senate to step up and provide states with more resources so they can run safe and secure elections.

Tell the Senate to give states more funding so they can implement measures to protect our elections this year.

Issue One has been hard at work advocating for voters and ensuring they have access to the ballot box come November.

This polling creates more momentum for our efforts, and we will continue to fight for the American people to ensure our 2020 elections are safe and secure.

Add your name to tell the Senate you want them to provide states with more funding to protect the 2020 elections.

Thanks for all you do,
