Dear John, We truly appreciate the leader and advocate Sarah is, not only for our environment, but for our communities, our kids, and our state. If we want more leaders like her, we need to elect them next week. Hurricane Helene reminds us all of the importance of our work: the importance of electing leaders who act on climate before tragedy strikes. If you are considering whether to donate to us or relief efforts, please donate to relief efforts. But if you have the capacity to donate to both hurricane relief efforts and NCLCV, we will use your support to elect leaders who act on climate. Races in NC are won by small margins, so today we are asking you to do two things. First, become a sustaining donor so we can make the difference in this election and future elections. Second, we ask that you advocate for your environment by educating your vote. Visit our website to see our endorsements, read our scorecards, and build your ballot. Thank you for being a part of this work. It is thanks to you that we can show up everyday to fight for our environment!
