Dear friend,
It never gets easier, even when I reach out to friends like you. There are many days when I wonder what more I could have done to prevent my son from being murdered at his school.
But banding together with other families of the victims of the Parkland shooting shows me that what I must do now is fight to ensure no other family suffers the same loss.
That includes working through Stand with Parkland to push critical safety legislation for our nation’s schools. This legislation contains 'Parents Need To Know' initiatives to amend the Secondary Education Act, bills to make mental health more available in schools, and federal bills for bullet-resistant school doors.
But, friend, we can't do it alone. The more voices raised with ours, the more we can achieve to ensure the safety of America’s students and teachers.
We urgently need your help keeping the pressure on. By working with public officials from both sides of the aisle, Stand with Parkland is making remarkable progress. Please chip in $25 today to help us continue this critical work and contribute to the school safety solution.
HELP MAKE CHANGE POSSIBLE →
Working to ensure no other family has to experience the pain that I and the other Parkland families have endured has become the cause of my life.
Even on the most challenging days, it comforts me to know I'm doing everything I can to make a difference for other parents and families. Will you join us on this journey?
Thank you for caring,
— Gena Hoyer, Luke’s mom
