I know you care about saving preborn children from abortion, so you need to know what is happening in my state of Connecticut. 

I have lived here for more than two decades, and I have never seen the level of abortion misinformation that I am witnessing right now. 

Connecticut has some of the most radical pro-abortion laws in the nation, but that isn’t enough for abortion activists. They want a state where abortion is accessible at any gestational stage and for any reason.

My neighbors have no idea how radical our state’s abortion laws are. Connecticut allows for abortion up to 24 weeks and abortion activists are clamoring for more. The Department of Public Health is even debating regulations that would remove protections for babies born alive after failed abortions and strip medical professionals of state-level conscience protections. 

Isn’t it horrific enough that a minor can get an abortion without notifying her parents? If a Connecticut teen wants a tattoo, piercing, or tan, our state laws require parental involvement. 

Yet, a surgical abortion can be performed or a chemical abortion pill distributed to a child without her parents’ knowledge. These leaders are prioritizing abortion access over the health and safety of women.
