Friends -

I’m asking you to do something a little different today. While all eyes
are on the race for the White House, it’s important that our party
remembers where change starts: at the state and local levels. Which is why
this November, we need victories up and down the ballot.

I’m proud to support State Representative JA Moore, who has been a
trailblazer in South Carolina since he was first elected in 2018.

JA was motivated to run for office when tragedy struck Charleston and his
sister, along with eight other precious lives were taken at Mother Emanuel
AME Church in June of 2015. While in office, JA has been fighting to close
the “Charleston loophole”, improve mental health resources in schools,
ensure safe drinking water for all, and to end predatory lending.

In 2018, JA flipped a seat that was held by Republicans for decades. Now,
they’re fighting hard to win it back. Which is why today I have to ask:

[ [link removed] ]If you are able, will you chip in right now to help JA fight back and
hold his seat this year?

I’ve been honored to get to know JA in my visits to South Carolina. He has
been a tireless champion for working people, and an invaluable friend in
our fight for justice.

[ [link removed] ]If you are able, I hope you can chip in today to help JA continue his
fight for the people of South Carolina.

South Carolina is turning blue, and JA is helping to make that happen.

Let’s keep the momentum going!

Thanks

Kamala
