John, I’d like to share a message with you from a truly unique man I have the honor of serving with in the U.S. Senate: Angus King. Angus is a critical partner of mine in the U.S. Senate, and we can’t afford to lose his thoughtful, compassionate, bipartisan approach to policy making. He’s running for reelection in Maine and I’d like to ask you to support his campaign by splitting a $ASK1 contribution between our campaigns. Can you chip in today? [[link removed]?]

There’s just too much on the line — from reproductive rights to access to the ballot box — to risk losing Angus and letting Republicans take back the Senate majority. Can you chip in today? [[link removed]?]

Thank you,

Dick Durbin

Blueberry bread is important here in my Washington D.C. office and I’ll explain why. But first, with only 6 days until the most important election of our lifetime, can you chip in $10 towards my campaign and my colleague, Dick Durbin? [[link removed]]

At 9 AM on just about every Wednesday when the Senate is in session, we serve coffee and the best blueberry bread you could imagine to any and all Maine people who are visiting the Capitol.

We even have a map of Maine in the office with pins for each hometown because people come from all over for blueberry bread Wednesdays! People visit D.C. for all kinds of reasons – from conferences to sightseeing – but no matter why they’re visiting I’m happy to provide them with a little taste of Maine hundreds of miles from home. And the best part? Getting to chat with fellow Maine people and hear their stories.

We’re living in divisive times, John. Now more than ever we need opportunities like this to bring us together. And, as an Independent in Congress, bringing people together is what I aim to do every day.

John: While I’d love to put all of my energy into blueberry bread and my work in Congress, I also have to raise money for my re-election campaign. And with just DAYS left until Election Day, it’s critical we don’t fall behind. Choice and democracy are on the ballot and I want to keep fighting for YOU in the Senate. Knowing that, will you split a donation between myself and my friend, Dick Durbin, today? [[link removed]?]

Angus
