TAMMY BALDWIN FOR SENATE

We had to make a difficult decision.

We just put even more money behind our campaign ads this week even though it wasn’t in our October budget. It was a risky decision, but we need to explain why we had to make it:

Billionaires and super PACs have made Wisconsin the most competitive Senate race in the country.

Eric Hovde and his GOP allies have poured $100 million worth of nasty, misleading attack ads into our state.

And recent polling proves their ad blitz is working — after months of being statistically tied, Eric Hovde took the lead for the first time in multiple October polls.

With Republicans on track to outspend us through Election Day, we had no choice but to respond by putting more money behind our own campaign ads.

Now, we’re facing an unexpected deficit in our budget. If we can’t close the gap, we’ll have to pull down our ads as hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites continue to cast their votes — potentially costing us the race.

That’s why we’re turning to you today. Will you chip in to help us reach our fundraising goal before tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline so we can defend Wisconsin’s battleground Senate seat?

Thanks for all you do to support Tammy’s campaign. We won’t win this toss-up race without the continued support of folks like you.
