John,
When we’re in the halls of Congress advocating for Social Security and Medicare, we can always count on Senator Bob Casey and his team.
Casey, who chairs the Senate Aging Committee, is a sponsor of legislation to expand Social Security and make annual cost-of-living increases more accurate. And he is a leading advocate for expanding home and community based care, so that seniors can stay at home instead of being forced into a nursing home.
Casey is on the ballot next Tuesday, facing off against multi-millionaire David McCormick. McCormick, who once worked for George W. Bush, wants to cut and privatize our earned benefits!

John,
Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) is one of the most hard-working and knowledgeable advocates for seniors in the U.S. Senate. As Chair of the Senate Aging Committee, he’s fighting to expand Social Security and Medicare, lower drug prices, and make nursing homes safer.
Seniors need Bob Casey in the Senate. But recently, the Cook Political Report moved his race against Republican Dave McCormick to a “toss-up”.
McCormick is a multi-millionaire businessman who once worked in the George W. Bush administration where he supported privatizing Social Security. Just a few years ago, he claimed that Social Security and Medicare are “unsustainable”.
In fact, they are fully affordable if we require ultra-wealthy people, like McCormick, to pay their fair share! That’s why Senator Casey introduced the Boosting Benefits and COLAs for Seniors Act, which would help seniors deal with rising costs by changing the way the COLA is calculated to better reflect the costs seniors incur.
McCormick and his allies are pouring millions into this pivotal race! Social Security champion Bob Casey needs our help. Split a contribution between Bob Casey’s campaign and Social Security Works today to help Get Out the Senior Vote and win!
Recently, AARP asked both candidates about issues impacting seniors.1 Casey said that “we’ve got to make sure that we protect and preserve both Social Security and Medicare.” McCormick said “We’re going to have to find fiscal sanity”, code for cutting our earned benefits.
In the same interview, Casey vowed to protect Medicare from cuts. Meanwhile, McCormick expressed support for privatized Medicare plans (which are notorious for delaying and denying the care patients need) over Traditional Medicare.
Donate today to help Social Security champion Bob Casey defeat out-of-touch multi-millionaire David McCormick!
