Friends, this November is a huge deal.
Yes, I’m talking about the historic election in front of us in less than one week — we’re all working around the clock to ensure that my husband Tim Kaine is re-elected, that we send Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to the White House, and that we flip the House of Representatives to a Democratic majority.
But what you probably don’t know is that this November is also a big milestone for Tim and me personally — we will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary on November 24th, 2024!
In honor of our 40th, I wanted to share a few favorite pix from over the years…

My mom and dad, Linwood and Jinks Holton, often said that for them, serving Virginia was “the family business,” and it’s with great humility and honor that Tim and I have worked to continue that family tradition of doing whatever we can to serve this great Commonwealth and the amazing people who call it home.
It is in that spirit that Tim is running for re-election. Like me — and like you — he believes in Virginia, and believes in the future we can create if good hearts and hard work come together.
It’s going to be a tough push to get through these final 6 days to Election Day. The polls all around the country show close elections in every battleground, and Tim is up against a well-funded opponent.
