Saving Coloradans Money on Health Care: Launching the Colorado Hospital Price Finder
Saving Coloradans money on health care has been a top priority since day one, and shining light on the real costs of care is a key piece of the puzzle to help lower prices. I was excited to join Lt. Governor Primavera and PatientRightsAdvocate.org (PRA) Founder and Chair Cynthia Fisher to celebrate the free new

Colorado Hospital Price Finder tool , where people can look up specific procedures and see the prices at different hospitals before insurance is applied.
Over the past few years, I have signed bipartisan new laws that strengthen state hospital price transparency requirements. I am excited to see these tools coming online to make this important information accessible to Coloradans. This tool compliments the

state-generated hospital price transparency tool from the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, empowering Coloradans with useful information about the cost of care.
These new tools provide Coloradans the ability to research prices at every hospital and shop for the care that works for individuals and families. The free tools show the total price that the hospital charges each payer and cash-pay prices, although the final amount charged to Coloradans depends on each person's insurance plan and coverage.
Saving Coloradans money on health care is a top priority, and we will continue to ensure Colorado’s competitive health care market provides high-quality care to everyone at lower costs and provides more clarity on the true cost of health care.

Celebrating Colorado’s Award-Winning Schools Delivering High-Quality Education to Colorado Students

I visited Poudre High School in Fort Collins to learn about the Ninth Grade Success Showcase and celebrate state support to drive student success, improve graduation rates, and expand student apprenticeship opportunities.
Poudre received a Colorado Ninth Grade Success Grant to help increase the number of 9th grade students with the skills needed to successfully reach 10th grade on-track and on-time. To date, the school has seen a 13% increase in students who are on track. They are also working to expand apprenticeship opportunities thanks to a

Education is the foundation to success, and we are committed to ensuring every student and teacher has the support and resources needed to thrive in and outside of the classroom. I am proud to champion student success in Colorado and at the national level as Chair of the bipartisan National Governors Association.

the recent incident that injured two Thornton Police officers . I’m grateful for the service of our men and women in uniform. It was great to see the new state-of-the-art police training facility in Thornton, which will help train and retain high-quality officers. Thank you to the brave peace officers across the state who put themselves in harm's way to protect our fellow Coloradans and to keep our communities safe.
