In southwestern Kenya, Rise Against Hunger has partnered with Rural Family Hope on the Feed for Knowledge project to support seven primary schools.

In Kenya, 55% of those facing poverty are children, and 36% of children are undernourished. Years of drought have caused increased food insecurity and serious levels of hunger.

Rise Against Hunger and Rural Family Hope seek to break the poverty cycle by providing nutritious school meals that increase school attendance and improve academic performance. We also work with local farmers to source fresh, locally grown food.

We can’t wait to show you the progress we’ve made in Kenya! In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more of the work we’ve done with Rural Family Hope, so keep an eye on your inbox and follow us on social media.

With your support as a Hunger Champion, we can provide children with the nutrition they need to succeed and thrive.
