Murad is a refugee from a country in the Middle East, one that is completely closed to the message of Jesus’ eternal hope. He lives with his family in a refugee camp in another Middle Eastern country.
Murad was curious about this gift that was “better than rice.” He and his daughter had come to receive meals distributed by Unto™ through our partners who live and serve in that country.
The lifesaving aid given to Murad — provided by people like you — is the only help he and his family receive. And this aid is often the only reason why ministry can happen in countries like the one where they live and why we could offer Murad a special gift.
After giving Murad food for his children, our national team member handed Murad a Bible. He took it happily, held it up, and kissed it!
In his country a printed Bible is priceless. People treat it reverently and with great respect. Murad was grateful to receive his very own copy, handling it with care.
When his daughter found out the Bible was translated into her language, she told our partners, “I want a copy, please. I want to read it. I am so excited to read the Bible.”
Even during these days of social distancing, you can help “crack open” some of the most closed doors on earth by sending lifesaving aid to people like Murad and his family.
