Higher temperatures directly impact crop yields, as many grains are sensitive to temperature fluctuations. Erratic rainfall patterns disrupt planting and harvesting cycles, while soil degradation diminishes nutrient levels and moisture retention, further reducing yields and making crops more susceptible to pests and diseases.
