I’ve spent the last two hours poring over our budget. I have the little gray lines of a thousand different spreadsheets burned permanently into my eyelids 👁👁 . During the 40 or so minutes of sleep I get tonight, I will dream of nothing but Excel.
The conclusion I’ve reached from all this is inescapable: our fundraising numbers are not where they need to be. And with our last monthly fundraising deadline of the entire election only two days away, it’s never been more important to hit our benchmarks.

The truth is, we’re heading toward Election Day with no idea whether we’ll win or lose. Polling has us deadlocked with our opponent, who just wrote his campaign a $200,000 check to fuel more attacks on Andrea. With just one week until the election, we still have thousands of undecided voters to reach, and we have to get all of our supporters out to vote.
