Election Day is just one week away, and the stakes are high. In the face of a cultural and political climate that challenges our faith, family, and freedom, we are seeing the concerns from partners like you echoed in a recent Family Research Council survey. Here's what respondents ranked as the most important issue facing our nation today:
- Immigration Crisis (34%)
- Abortion (22%)
- Election Integrity (14%)
But perhaps even more concerning is the widespread lack of confidence in our election system, with over 76 percent of respondents feeling somewhat or very unconfident in the integrity of our elections.
Yet, at a time when Christian voices are needed most, millions are planning to stay silent.
George Barna's research shows that as many as 41 million self-identified Christians are planning to sit this election out. This kind of disengagement leaves a dangerous void in our society -- one that the radical Left is more than willing to fill.
When we decide we're not going to be politically engaged, all we do is open the door for more of the same evil agenda and ideology that is destroying our country. We must not let this happen.
But why are so many Christians planning to sit this one out? The answer may be found in a recent Lifeway survey.
While 81 percent of U.S. evangelicals say they seek to apply biblical truth when voting, only 27 percent feel equipped to engage in the tough conversations that often come with standing for biblical values. Many want to influence the culture, but few feel ready to do so -- a troubling disconnect that makes it little wonder why 82 percent of respondents to our survey reported feeling overwhelmed or discouraged about the current state of America.
The reality is that many of us know we should be speaking out, but we aren't sure how.

I know many of you are concerned about the threat posed by electoral fraud. But that's all the more reason to get out and vote! Most electoral fraud takes place on a small scale, with just a handful of ballots. When faithful Christians turn out to defend the faith with their vote, we can overwhelm any fraudsters at the ballot box!
With Election Day upon us, the time to act is now. Together, we can ensure that our votes reflect biblical values -- protecting life, defending marriage, safeguarding our children, and standing for truth. But we need your help.
