Florida is on the front lines of the climate crisis. The state is uniquely vulnerable to extreme weather — yet over and over again, its leaders dismiss the role of climate change. Earlier this year, Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill removing climate change from state energy policy, calling it a “radical” agenda. And while record-breaking heat waves and hurricanes pummel the state, he openly mocks the science behind climate impacts.

It’s clear Florida needs leaders who take the climate crisis seriously.

🌍 Maxwell Frost is the first Gen Z and Afro-Cuban member of Congress, and he’s already shaking things up! Since being elected, Max has secured over $200 million for environmental protection and fought to deliver critical FEMA funding after Hurricane Irma. He is exactly the kind of bold, relentless leader we need to tackle the climate crisis — especially in Florida, where climate action can’t wait.

🌍 Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is running to unseat far-right Senator Rick Scott, one of the nation’s most vocal climate deniers. She’s no stranger to the climate fight — Debbie’s record includes bringing in over $200 million to protect Florida’s beloved Everglades and critical natural resources. Her priority? Clean water, sustainable infrastructure, and climate resilience for every Floridian.

Debbie’s win would flip Florida blue, all but ensure we hold onto the Senate majority, and bring another pro-climate voice to Washington.
