Friend, May is Mental Health Awareness month -- and right now, we're all managing difficult emotions as we confront a new and rapidly changing reality.
From disrupted routines to physical distancing, it's hard not to feel isolated, anxious or overwhelmed. And this is especially true for children.
With the support of this community, UNICEF is finding ways to help children around the world maintain positive mental health through this crisis.

Take a look at how we're helping children cope:
1) Educating about COVID-19: We're helping teachers around the world talk to students about the coronavirus disease, providing tips for age-appropriate discussions to reassure and protect children.
2) Preventing Online Bullying: As screen time increases, so do potential threats for online harassment. UNICEF is continuing to work with governments and the tech industry to keep children safe from bullying online.
3) Promoting healthy recreation: In times of stress, it's important to find healthy ways to cope and find joy. In addition to hygiene equipment, UNICEF is supplying children with recreation kits to promote activities like playing sports and board games.
Your support can help to enhance children's well-being during this difficult time, from continuing education to facilitating healthy activities.
If you're able to right now, please make your first donation today in honor of Mental Health Awareness month to support positive mental health for children everywhere.
